Course Details
Malware is any software developed by cybercriminals to encrypt, alter or steal data, such as passwords or credit card numbers, to spy on someone's computer activity without their knowledge or permission, or to hijack, damage or destroy computers (including mobile phones, tablets, etc.) and computer systems. Building on Investigating Malware Attacks, this course discusses the techniques any computer user should know to try to stop malware from being installed, as well as how to recognize that your computer has been infected and how to remove malware once it has been installed. It also covers the protective tools (the technology) currently available to detect and block malware attacks and how to proactively eliminate network vulnerabilities to malware attacks.
