Please review the following changes to the Associate Certificate in Leadership and Conflict Resolution (LCRE1). The updates are intended to keep the program relevant and reflective of developments in the leadership and conflict resolution field. Option 1: You enrolled in the Associate Certificate in Leadership and Conflict Resolution program before August 31, 2025
Complete the following courses:
- LEAD-1100 Lead Yourself First / LEAD-1120 Essentials of Inclusive Leadership (*NEW)
- LEAD-1101 Leading Through Relationships / LEAD-1125 Collaborative Leadership for Thriving Teams (*NEW)
- CRES-1100 Foundations of Collaborative Conflict Resolution
- CRES-1412 Conflict at Work: Leading Collaboratively (CRES-1200 also accepted)
- CRES-1550 Assessment: Associate Certificate in Leadership and Conflict Resolution
Upcoming changes will not affect your graduation requirements.

Option 2: You have taken some leadership courses but are not enrolled in the Associate Certificate in Leadership and Conflict Resolution program
If you’ve already completed LEAD-1100 and/or LEAD-1101 and wish to apply them toward the certificate, please enroll in the program by August 1, 2025 to complete it under the current structure. The following courses are eligible for program completion:
- LEAD-1100 Lead Yourself First / LEAD-1120 Essentials of Inclusive Leadership (*NEW)
- LEAD-1101 Leading Through Relationships / LEAD-1125 Collaborative Leadership for Thriving Teams (*NEW)
- CRES-1100 Foundations of Collaborative Conflict Resolution
- CRES-1412 Conflict at Work: Leading Collaboratively (CRES-1200 also accepted)
- CRES-1550 Assessment: Associate Certificate in Leadership and Conflict Resolution

Option 3: You are not enrolled in the Associate Certificate in Leadership and Conflict Resolution program but wish to start the program with the new leadership courses
Enroll in the program starting September 2025 and take these courses:
- LEAD-1120 Essentials of Inclusive Leadership (*NEW)
- LEAD-1125 Collaborative Leadership for Thriving Teams (*NEW)
- CRES-1100 Foundations of Collaborative Conflict Resolution
- CRES-1412 Conflict at Work: Leading Collaboratively
- CRES-1550 Assessment: Associate Certificate in Leadership and Conflict Resolution
